The Problem
Consumers often don’t want to walk out during interval to buy snacks. Sometime they are in hurry and forget to buy some food even if they are hungry they have to wait till the movie ends. Most of the time there is same old option pop corn and coke to buy.
The Goal
To allow users chose variety of snacks and drinks and that can be delivered right at their seat within the movie theater.
User Research Summary
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was viewers who visit movie theater at least twice in a month.
This user group confirmed initial assumptions about Snack ‘n’ Watch customers, and research revealed that there are several limitations like viewers do not like to walk out to buy foods, they are in hurry to get into and forget to buy some foods even if they are hungry or to have something new item other than conventional popcorn and coke.

Problem Statement
Zareen is an university student who lives with her sisters and loves to watch movies needs an app that delivers snacks at movie theaters because they enjoy eating snacks during intervals and they want options other than only popcorn.

Hi-Fidelity Prototype:
Early designs allowed for some customization, but after the usability studies, I added additional option to search your movie theater. I also revised the design of the footer so that user can see all the customization options when they first land on the screen.

Usability Study and Revised Hi-Fidelity Prototype:
The second usability study revealed frustration with the entering movie details. Users were not sure how to enter the seat number and time and for that I have added a clear button on the home . Also the steps are clearly shown to know current position of the user.

Snack 'n' Watch App in action:
Here I have captured the app flow, how the Snack 'n' Watch app works. The motion is captured from high-fidelity prototype after several rounds of Usability Study.
